Swallowtail
Went to the local woods today for the green lizards again and this swallowtail landed next to me so i grabbed the 1d2 with a 70-200 and followed it for a while grabbing shots as it landed,A good day with mating lizards and 3 swallowtails-Slight crop and cloning out of highlighted twig

Hi Dave, very nice sharp image of the swallowtail, allthough I find the background a bit messy it still stands out well.

Think the only place in Britain you find them is Norfolk Broads

Hi Dave

Nice image, good sharpness and exposure. Background a bit busy, but butterfly stands out well against the background so not a huge issue.

cheers

Well exposed and nicely sharp thoughout, well done. Background a little busy but as said, with such a bright and beautiful butterfly this is easily ignored. The greens seem a tad yellow on my screen... :toast:

Nice one , as said bg is a bit on the busy side but prob not a lot you could do about that, you don't give any exposure details but perhaps a wider aperture?
