When I moved to Houston, TX thirty years ago, I never expected to see eagles. Thanks to a great conservation effort, eagle population is increasing and I've been lucky to see and photograph a local nesting pair with two eaglets. Canon 40D / EF 600mm f/4L IS USM w EF1.4X II

Well done. Great composition here with the framing of the eagle as well as the tree in the corner.
My folks go fishing at Toledo Bend a lot and during the winter they always see a couple of bald eagles there. Not sure where they fly down from but always an impressive bird.
Also, if you want to see about eagles, go over to the Midwest group (MWNP) they spotted 900 (not a typo) eagles one day last month on a single day at one of the dams on the Upper Mississippi River.

Great flight shot, Richard. I like the pose and the intensity of the stare.

I agree with all of the above! Looks like you have plenty of reach to get to them. Very nice job.
