Made the tough hike in and the MUCH tougher hike out yesterday morning. There are several nice waterfalls in close proximity to each other in this spot and they were all running. But with winter vegetation being what it is I focused more on smaller drops. One of my sons and his friend came along and they had a blast with their phone cams all day long. Note the icicles hanging from he canyon wall. Those were falling all around us-sometimes in large groups of multiple daggers!

Nice Bob. I am glad you got to get out, and made it back okay. I like your composition. Maybe just a tad too cool on the WB side? I see a lot of blue, but could be my monitor. Thanks for sharing with us.

Gotcha Jan.
Yeah that place is a bugger.
We also headed down the Bear Creek drainage after lunch to see Sidewinder and Vslot but it was getting late and so both of the boys dropped their packs and fast tracked it down to the bottom. I made it to about .2 miles from the bottom and decided I had spend so much energy getting out of the Polyfoss area they might have to rope me out of that one. I saw some good cell phone shots of those falls and they were running well yesterday evening. That whole drainage is just outstanding as far as terrain features
But I can say I have been totally down one of Tims difficult bushwhacks and almost through another.

Nice work Bob. Sounds like an adventure getting in and out of that place.
I like your choice of composition for this water feature when there is basically no foliage around.
