I wonder if anyone using 5D III or any other Canon cameras had the same problem I am facing with!
I just purchased my 5d III at Christmas and had used it just a couple of times. Last weekend in a trip to south west of Western Australia.
When I was shooting in live view mode it was freezing and the last image was staying on the screen even if I turned the camera "OFF". I had to take the battery off and install it again to solve the problem.
I did use another CF card and formated before use but still I had the same problem.
Does anyone in NPN have experienced this problem before or does anyone know how to fix this problem? Please help.

I've used my 5DIII since last April & that has not occurred once. Sorry I can't help you there.

No problems for mine either but it may help others to know if the camera performs otherwise OK. Specifically, when shooting non-liveview, is everything AOK? That may help diagnose issue whether for NPN or for Canon when you finally get to them.
