Carolyn Derstine, Cheryl Molennor, Ken Archer and I have images in a slideshow with the National Wildlife Magazine this year. There may be other NPN members there, not sure though..
There's some delightful images there if you have the time.

Congratulations Howard to you and the other NPN members that were selected for this honor. I did see your image as well as the other images of the members you've listed here. But I could not decide if there were other NPN members in the long list of images to review. I did recognize a couple names of photogs I'd met in the past. It was good to see their images as well. :toast:

Thanks for the tip, Howard, and CONGRATULATIONS! (especially since you and Carolyn won with arthropods! )

I also noticed a beautiful image by Ken Archer that was an NPN Photo of the Month last year: http://www.naturephotographers.net/imagecritique/ic.cgi?a=vp&pr=187188&CGISESSID=8f075e7dd073cc46f1cbc7a70e7ab10b&u=663

...and our NPN Larry Lynch (Canon shooter from Rochester, NY) didn't have anything in this contest (no flower or snowflake category?). The Larry Lynch whose alligator shot is featured is a Nikon shooter from Florida.

Ken Archer's magnificent Snowy Owl/Mt. Rainier shot was honored as well (though the front page of NPN is undoubtedly more prestigious  ) and Jenaya Launstein nabbed a second place award.

Congratulations to all of you. The collection of Honorable Mention photos is impressive. Hard to believe, that they are not all the winners! And, as always, Howard , your photos are stellar! Congrats again :toast:
