The dunnock who... (+ re-post)
...thinks it's a meerkat   It amused me, when every now and again, it would stretch itself full length to have a good look round; better safe than sorry, I suppose. Taken through open window this time.

If you have enough canvas, David, I do think a portrait crop might suit the way the bird is stretching.

Simples!

Thanks for the input, David. Here is a crop as per your suggestion. I must say I still prefer my first image, an exception that proves the rule as I like 'em BIF.

Its amazing how a bird can change shape so much isn't it as they are usually horizontal searching the ground for food. Prefer the first post David and perhaps a little more canvas on the left if you have it. I like the moss covered rocks as a BG and perch. Simples and then some!

First for me David - second looking too far out of pic to left. (In my humble opinion)

First is the job, it is still a BIF shot i would not crop anything in fact a little more breathing space could enhance the shot. it is a cracking shot though :toast: :toast: :toast: :wavey:

I have to say that it is still the first for me as well, although I still think a portrait crop may have worked if there was additional canvas above and below.

I like the first one David as it shows of the bird stretching up a lot better
