Winter Woody
Greater Spotted Woodpecker.
Several crop options here, but I wanted to keep as much wintry background in as possible. Won't work for everyone I know.
Room window.
Nikon D200 Sigma 100-300 f4

500 ISO
Slight crop

Works nicely for me, although I think it would also work if you cropped the catkins off the top and made it a panoramic.

Thanks
David -I left the catkins in to try and mix the "Spring" feel with the winter.

Works for me. Nice and chilly.

Always liked a square crop since my 6 by 6 yashica days

Very nice comp JR and the falling snow adds to the wintery feel.
