Has anyone photographed the Fly Geyser in Nevada? It's on well guarded private property, but very close to the road, so it can still be shot. Photos I've seen look pretty nice, but don't recall ever seeing it mentioned in photo circles.

Bob- I have been there about 6 years ago. I talked to the Sheriff in town who was a friend of the owner and he gave me the gate code to use twice. Take your time and be very nice and it may work for you. Unfortunately somebody shot off a corner of the geyser and it doesn't look quite like the pics you see. Also, if it is very cold you will have much steam which hinders your image. I am on the road photographing Eagles but, contact me saturday and i can give you more info. bkarcz1@gmail.com

Thanks for the replies and to those that e-mailed me directly. I didn't see it on Bing (not a Bing user), but someone sent me a link asking about it. I don't have any plans to be in Nevada anytime soon, but thought it was interesting that I hadn't heard of it before.
