The February 2012 edition of Nature Photographers Online Magazine is now ready for your viewing!
This month’s Photo of the Month cover shot is of a Great Grey owlet by John Launstein. A superb photo on all counts!
Alain serves up some great advice for those marketing their photos in his essay Fourteen Commandments for Fine Art Photography Marketing. In fact, his advice applies well to the marketing of many other products and services beyond photography.
NPN member Kory Lidstrom visits Canyonlands National Park and shares some insight on the experience in his article The White Rim Trail: Best of the Best. Kory’s article convinced me that this is a place I need to visit!
For those of us more inclined to sit in a comfortable chair dreaming of such great places to spend time behind the viewfinder – or simply contemplating great photos and how they are made – Paul Faust offers his recommendations of worthy reading material in his February 2013 Book Reviews.
As is always the case, we invite NPN members to post their questions and/or comments in the area provided at the end of each article. Also, please be sure to use the Facebook like button provided with each article if you would like to share it on your FB page!
As a final remainder, our fund drive to send Jenaya Launstein to the 2013 NANPA Summit is still open to contributions. We are better than 75% of our way to the $1500 goal we had set to cover those expenses – if you have not already done so, please consider donating to this worthy cause!

NPN member Fred Weymouth then serves a second helping of photographic destination goodness in his article Photographing Chiricahua National Monument.
