Canon 1.4X EF II Tele-converter II compatibility

I have used this TC with the Canon EF 500mm f/4L IS and was really happy with the performance. I have also used the 1.4X Mark III with the new Canon EF 500mm f/4L IS Mark II and had great results. Does anyone know if the Mark II 1.4X will work with the new Mark II 500mm?
