Its cold outside.
There seems to be a few familiar faces returning to this forum so I thought I would join in, it seems a habit once broken is difficult to re start (except smoking I guess), it always seems to be a case of “after the holidays”, “after Christmas” or in my case after I retire but that was over a year ago. Anyway here goes, this was taken though the kitchen window, inside temperature 20C outside 4C. Both this winter and last, large flock of Fieldfares have striped the hedges bare of berries and moved into the village in search of food, apples nailed to the fence seems to fill their needs and they turn up in good numbers to mix it with the Blackbirds and Starlings. I know this is big in the frame but I cant move the kitchen or the fence that the perch is nailed to, I have added a bit of background both top and to the right-hand side in an attempt to lessen that impression.
Thanks for looking.

Good to see you posting again, Bob. I think the extra canvas on the top needs a little more work, especially on the large version, as I can see a number of marks up there. Other than that, a great shot.
