Rock and Water
An image from April during a trip to Branson. The place the wife and I stayed had several man made water falls. I messed around for an hour one evening photographing the water and rocks, this is one on the images I liked the best. I did punch this up a bit with a NIk filter. Comments welcome and thanks for looking!

Dave:

There are some nice elements in this picture. I especially like the water as it flows around the rock. I think there's a good B&W version in there somewhere. Thanks for posting!

Dave, the water flowing around the rock seems almost eppervescent! You could bottle that and sell it as an elixar for two bits a bottle!

I like the warm gold tones on the rock and fg water. Thanks for posting! Hope you had a good time in Branson!

Tim, thanks for the comment, I had not thought of this a B&W until you mentioned it, I'll have to see how well it works.

Wayne, thanks also for the comment

I would never thought of describing the image this way. Thanks!.

David - I have to agree with Tim about a BW version. You might also consider a square crop - it just seems to have more balance to me, and puts more emphasis on the rock and bubbles around it. Thanks for posting!

Bill, I agree with you about the square crop, I also think cropping out the lower part and leaving just the water would create a nice abstract. This is one of those images that you can work into several different comps depending on the crop or converting to B&W. Thanks for the comment I appreciate the feedback.

I like it David
It doesn't even look man made at all, I would have guessed it to be completely natural.
I also agree with the comments above to crop some of the top frame off.

I was also stuck in Branson for a weekend last month and could not find one thing interesting to photograph, I should have headed down to Arkansas.
