Currently I'm using State Farm for workshop liability insurance, but I've heard horror stories of them not paying out when you actually need the coverage. I contacted the recommended company for asmp and they gave me a bad taste in my mouth right from the start. I already have gear insurance through Rand, so I just need liability.

So...who do you use?

Thanks!

I use CNA for my general liability and commercial auto. My agent is Taggart & Associates, 303 442-1484, in Boulder. It's a new policy, so I haven't filed any claims yet-- hopefully never!

David, it seems to me that a commercial liability carrier's dependability should have nothing to do with your photo business and everything to do with how much they value that group of customers (insured). In you place, I'd talk to other business owners in Fort Collins to find out who they insure with and how those companies handle claims. If you belong to a business group (Chamber of Commerce, Rotary, etc.), this could be the perfect venue to sound a wide variety of opinions on the subject.

Does anyone use TCP & CO? They have an ad on the right of the forum page before you sign in.
