Mt. Antero surroundings
Tried to summit Mt. Antero via ATV this morning with the hope of shooting the sunrise. Instead, I got the ATV stuck in a deep snowbank (top of the bank was frozen, left side collapsed...overboard)it took me an hour to dig the ATV out (EDIT: Clarification: I'm fine, I did not get stuck myself, just took a long time to dig out the ATV, no reason to be concerned) etc. and I missed the sunrise . So... I decided to wander around the area and take a few pics. View link to see pics...

Hi Scott,
Great shots! I've been up there many times in the past and you've captured the feeling superbly! Fortunate the snow didn't throw you and machine completely over the side!

Ken, the top half of the mountain was clear, the shadows below tree line were the problem...no real danger.

Scott - glad you’re OK! ..but aren’t you supposed to be “running” up that hill?

Nice pics, too!

Rene, I decided to be a slacker for a while. Besides, running with a heavy photo backpack at 14K! Yikes. I'm not sure that I could have handled it right now.
