The NPN website will be closing down around 5:00 PM EST tomorrow, Tuesday 2/26 for some maintenance. We also hope to address some email delivery issues that we've been plagued with recently.
Since a new IP address will need to be propagated, the outage could last up to 48 hours. If all goes well, you should be able to access NPN again within 24 to 36 hours after we close it down.
See you all on the other side (of the shut-down, that is)!

Good luck with this. The outage will be bearable if it solves the delivery problems.
Do we need to do anything special other than clear our browser caches and be patient?

thanks for the heads up Jim. Care to share the nature of the maintenance? Upgrades? New hardware? firmware/software updates? Just curious. Hope all goes well. Guess I should get off my *ss this weekend.

That's this week's Weekly Challenge: every NPN member is to go out and shoot SOMETHING, and when the site's back up we'll all upload in a frenzy and stress-test the installation. Larger size uploads mandatory.
(I have a feeling Jim's going to send a firebomb my way, lol)

Just curious, but I thought NPN was going off-line on Tuesday, the 26th., and today is the 28th..
Is the outage still planned, and if so, when will it occur?
