I just upgraded to a new iMac. I'm trying to get my old Epson Sytlus Photo 2200 up and running with the new machine. I just discovered the printer profiles available through Epson are not compatible with Mountain Lion. Any recommendations for 3rd party profiles that are compatible with the new iMacs? I'm hoping to use the printer for another year or so. I still get great quality prints from it!
Kirk, I have used a profile provided by Michael Gordon for sometime now with an Epson R2400 & Epson Premium Luster Paper. However, I'm not sure about your requested configuration with Mountain Lion and the interface needs overall. I would contact Michael directly to see if he can help you out, or possibly provide you with answers to your needs. His prices are more then reasonable for this quality service if he can generate the profile you want.
Yep, two different items entirely Kirk, as Keith has asked. Printer drivers or the printer profile?.....

The printer is working fine. I am in the process of calibrating my monitor and downloading the icc profiles for the various types of epson papers I print on. I got an error message when I tried to download the profiles from Epson's website. I confirmed with Epson's technical support the older profiles aren't compatible with Mac's new operating system, Mountain Lion. I can have someone with an older iMac download and email me or I can go with a 3rd part app.
This is the error message I get: "You can’t open the application “Prem.Luster” because PowerPC applications are no longer supported."

Kirk, good to hear you got some help from Epson on the issue. Again, it might be worth a message to Michael Gordon to see if he can generate the ICC Printer Profile for your combination. Good luck no matter what.....that printer you have is a good unit.

What happens when you try to use Epson's profiles?
You can get the driver for your 2200 by just plugging it into your Mac, and running software update.

Contact Michael at Great Printer Profiles.
Edit--I see that Paul already posted the above link.
A set of custom profiles for your most-used papers will give better prints. In your case, though, a custom profile may be your best option.
