Let me know when the buzzards get boring, not like I have taken anything else for 3 weeks. I was out yesterday, took a day off, as the weather is warming from now on (although they said that 2 weeks ago). Once the snow is gone so are my friends, but I guess it is Roe deer time soo. :)

500 f4, 5DmkIII, slight crop for composition

Boy, do you need a 200-400mm!!. Another very good image, Neil. Just a shame about the clipped wing :frown:

Great series so far and I a not sure which I prefer. As A says pity about the wing lip. But with three birds in shot they are never ever all going to be right. I stopped using the big lens on my buzzards a while back and found the 300 zoom much more useable.
Cheers

Thanks guys, things did not quite always go to plan  and someone told me it is often better to crop in and concentrate on the action than worry about missing bits.... So I did, the wing was cut but not so much, however compositionally it could not work any other way.
