TN Smokey Mts

I am looking at taking a trip to the Smokey MT's and was wondering if any of you have been there before and if so was it worth the trip? It has been awhile since I have backpacked.

Adam, Well worth the trip. The Smokies have some of the highest plant biodiversity in North America...............jim

Really, I didn't know that. . . But I am really looking forward to it. I have seen some pretty amazing images. I really want to take a trip to Michigan to the upper pen and sleeping bear duns. You live in MI?
