By none other than Doug Koepsel. It's only a minute and a half long, but it gets me psyched to get back out to the desert!

And to think that is just a tiny fraction of his incredible gallery of just the grand canyon. Talk about a deep canyon portfolio!

Thanks for the comments. I am open to suggestions.
This was a first-time experiment that took some time with image resizing and multiple computer crashes. Put together in PS Elements. I did not make any adjustment on the pan & zoom to match individual images. The short 90 seconds is a result of the frustration with 4MB RAM computer crashes when trying to make a longer show with 50 images. I could make one with Windows Media, but Vimeo did not recognize video code .wpl when I tried to upload it.

Fine work Doug! I look forward to your next video.

Very nice, Doug--some great photos! My only real suggestion is to allow a little more time for some of the photos--a few of them zip by pretty quickly. It's always a balance between allowing the video to drag on (since people's attention spans are zero) and not letting people see what you want then to see (in a gallery i might look at one of those photos for the whole 90 seconds).
Also, i notice you did not credit the music, which could get you in big trouble unless you're the musician. In fact, on vimeo it could get you in big trouble even if you credit the musician unless it's licensed or creative commons.
OH--one other thing: there are dozens of free converters online for video formats (i think i usually use 'Any Video Converter' but i have several) that will solve your file issue.

Stan, thanks for the suggestions and feedback.
Regarding the musician credit, the music is creative commons but needs attribution. The artist is listed on the home page of the video. Since the video was made and uploaded before the music was loaded, I did not have a credit slide. Unsure how to do after the fact or if the home page credit is sufficient.
I will do a search for the 'any video converter'

Really enjoyed that, Doug, great work! It's plain to see that you're really reaping the benefits of spending a lot of time at the Canyon.

It's put together very well, and I agree with Stan that a little longer on the images would be nicer. The quality could be better, too, and it doesn't show them off at their best. At least on my old monitor and my IP. The image choices are excellent for putting out there for everyone to see.
