Sol Duc Falls
This photo of Sol Duc Falls in Olympic National Park was taken a couple of years ago. Have any of you been up there recently and can tell me if the tree trunks lying across the falls are still there?

Hey, that's a great, classic shot, Greg. Thanks for posting it. The greens are really vibrant!
I haven't been in about that long, either, so no help for you there. It's a great day outing in any case. You going to go soon?

Been too long for me too. Looks like we will be waiting for a trip report! and photos...lots of them, please...
..ps...that was a winner photo! Hard to improve on it...

Thanks, Catherine and Ken. From reports that I've received, the logs were still there last July, so quite likely they remain in place.

Haven't been there since 8/11, so I don't know. I hated that log lying across the falls, so I took my shot like this...

I'm tempted to work this one over with Photoshop's Content Aware Fill, but everyone who's been there would know the image wasn't right. : )

Greg and Joe, both nice shots! Wow, I just checked my files, the last time I was up there was 2004...no logs...
