Serengeti
We Just returned from a couple of weeks, photographing the Serengeti and it's big cats. Here's a few photos I wanted to share. The trip was far better than I'd ever dreamed with us being able to see and photograph every animal I'd dreamed of This was taken our first night in camp.

Richard- Looks like you had a great trip!! To get those action shots you have to be lucky and prepared.!

Richard, thanks sharing these images. The fist shot is the essence of Africa and that Baboon shot is wicked!

Great shots. #7 may not be the best technically, but it definitely gets my attention and also makes the hair on my neck quiver.

Sounds and looks like you had a great trip. The cheetah chase of the wildebeest was my favorite because it so much more difficult to see and photograph than any of the others. Luck plays a big part in it as well as being part of a group willing to put in the wait time. Congratulations on getting a good one!

What a great opportunity you had! The cheetah running down dinner is my favorite.

Great collection. Your images have a clarity that many shots from there lack bc of the dusty conditions. Did you travel with a group or use an outfit there?

Thanks for the comments. It was a great trip...much better than I'd anticipated. We went on a private safari which gave us the ability to schedule our day the way we wanted. We waited and watched a mother Cheetah and 2 sub adults for 4 hours waiting for them to hunt. The end result was the Chase photo above. Our Safari company was very professional and I was very satisfied with the trip they provided.
