Winter Sunrise in New Mexico

Another image from my trip out to New Mexico back in January. I had caught some decent evening light the night before, had very little success with star trails from the cloud cover. That turned out ok as I caught an fantastic sunrise.

Love it when I can catch light and conditions like this. This is normally a summer or fall destination for me and I got the right conditions for a winter trip.

Fantastic light and great image. I bet you were stoked when this scene developed. Most people do not realize how fleeting this light is.

That is some wonderful color you were treated to Darren. Great job with the comp, the mountain layering leads the eye nicely through the frame.

Awesome, Darren! I love the color and balanced exposure throughout the scene, especially the sky.
