As fall moved to winter last year, we had a major and unexpected change at the animal hospital where I work. Unfortunately, it has required me to fill the role of Medical Director, and been all too consuming of my time and energy.
Sadly it has kept me from participating much here on PNWNP, and at the end of January I let Catherine and Jim know that I would need to step down as a moderator. Catherine has lined up a replacement, and I'll let her fill you in on the details.
I'll still be around, and hopefully in the future be able to help with NPN as needed. In the meantime, I hope to be able to get out and photograph a bit. I'll continue to hang around and enjoy your work as well!
John, thanks so much for your dedication, interest, and leadership. You bring a keen eye to the team and stunning photos that will always be your hallmark. As moderator, you provided solid feedback and organization / initiative...THANKS!
I look forward to continuing to see you and hear from you ...both as you are able to post or at future photo-tours......glad you are sticking around. And hope you abound with success and a balanced life in your new position! Ken Smith
Hi John, as a good friend and fellow "Battle Groundonian," I know how dedicated you are to whatever you do, work and play. We as PNWNPN members have had the benefit of your photographic knowledge, experience and insightful critiques for quite awhile. Your leadership and co moderator work with Catherine will be sorely missed.
I hope that your new responsibilities at work will ease in the future, permitting you some time in the field out shooting and our chance to view some new postings. "Thanks" for all your time and efforts to make this forum one of the best!

John, I want to thank you for taking the helm from me several years ago. You and Catherine really helped this forum get back to a good place. Thank you. I wish you all the best, and hope to see you out in the field soon.
John…, I am really missing working with you. You set the tone and the model for PNWNP. I look forward to continuing your legacy. With many thanks and hopes of seeing you in the field when time permits,
Catherine
