Maroon Bells Road

Does anyone know if the road into the Maroon Bells/Maroon Lake is open?

I'm guessing that's it's not open.

Just get in contact with T Lazy 7 Ranch. They run snowmobiles up that road for business.

Kane, do you know if their tours take time for photography at the Lake...by the way, thanks for the resource.

If you want a sunrise they won't take you up that early, unless you work em. I recall a $50.00 rate, which I think is very reasonable, for a solo trip up to the Bells. They might be willing to work with you with the logistics of timing. Just tell them what you want. You never know....

FYI - a cross-country ski trip or snowshoe up the road from the ranch to Maroon Lake is also a great way to spend the day.
