hey all;

wondering if anyone is using any of Fred Miranda's photoshop actions or plugins? Especially interested in feed back with regards to the following ones:

- Digital Infrared Emulation
- EdgeSharpen Pro
- Dynamic Range Increase
- Nikon D70 Resize Pro

Any insight into their usefulness, limitations, abilities, tips/tricks, etc is greatly appreciated.

I have his Shadow-Reduction and SmarterSharpen II products and they perform as advertised. I am quite pleased with the performance relative to the price.
Sorry - no experience with the specific ones you mentioned above.
Why not join the forum on his website to get direct feedback ?

I like most of Freds actions as they give me ideas or save my time. I got the IR when it came out and it works well for some things. You can't expect real IR without shooting it but this does give some images an intresting look. Here is a page I did last year with sample images.

Hope this helps some

Fred Miranda's actions are always nice to have and use if you don't wish to take the time to create the same actions in Photoshop. They can be a time saver. I have used his actions and love them.

The only FM action I use is Web Presenter Pro for downsizing. I've found Photokit and Photokit Sharpener to be much more useful and sophisticated. pixelgenuis.com
