Fox in the snow + REPOST
Thanks for the comments on my last picture.

Here's one from colder times a couple of months ago, I'd be interested to know if you think it works?

Techs:
Nikon D300s
Nikon 200-400mm f4 VR at 200mm
Handheld
F4
1/1000s
ISO 640

All C&C welcome, and please view large. Sorry it's hard to tell where the photo ends, I couldn't work out how to put a border around it!

Thanks for looking,

Oscar :wavey:

I initially thought it did need a border, Oscar, but the more I look at it the more I like it the way you posted it. Possibly a tad more detail in the snow around the fox, but not too much.

I might be tempted to have him running level rather than downwards but otherwise that'll do! :toast: :wavey:

Oscar

David sums it up well a tad more detail in the footprints possibly.

Oscar, Thats a nice image and the slope makes it. I would be tempted to take the advice above about the shadow providing to can do it without making it look artificial - snow is a very soft light.
