So I'm jumping on the bubble bandwagon. Had a lazy, but fun, weekend shooting bubbles. What else is there to do in a gloomy Midwest winter?

The last two of Milky Way and Lemme Out are my favorites.

Love these! Did you use a laser disc to achieve the colors?

I think the bottom 3 are the cream, and Doug's two faves are mine, too. Fun stuff, and fascinatingly beautiful.

Yes--all nice, but the bottom 3 rule!

Thanks gang!

Elaine- I didn't use a laser disc, only some cheap Dollar Store flowers, a hippy t-shirt, and 3 strips of thin green Post Its. Pam Colander sent me a helpful website- http://tinylanscapes.wordpress.com/2012/07/30/tons-of-fun-photographing-oil-and-water/. I had to play around with them a bit to get them to work. I'd recommend doing some slow, smooth lines in your water/oil mix first, then swish the mix up to get lots of bubbles! Once you swish fast, the oil/water starts to mix more and gets mucky. I ended up throwing out my first mixture after about 20 minutes because it was getting murky. Have fun!

Very cool, Amy! The bottom three are especially beautiful. Way to stave off cabin fever!

Very cool stuff, Amy! I like the bottom three and Champagne.
