Most people found yesterday in Arkansas to be just yucky. For a waterfaller it was Zen. Cloudy and misty all day long, with some rain thrown in. The first couple of spots were nearly dry so I went to my go to spot--Falling Water Creek. So did everyone else as I met three other nature photographers there that I had not met before.
I have shot this waterfall multiple times but different light and water levels yield different results. This image made made my 20 hour day worth every mile on my legs and truck.

Nice Bob. I almost went to FW, but got lazy and stayed home. I now regret it, particularly since it is close to me relatively speaking. Keep them coming. I always enjoy your images.
Jan, I am committed to non-laziness as far as the outdoors. I have made 4 trips so far this spring and hope for several more. It was in the mid 40's yesterday but I was comfortable with a sound layering system. And the creek water was not too terribly cold. I met three other photogs out yesterday so it was good to put some more faces to names.
I am hopefully coming to the meetup on the 13th of April. Turns out that April has two weekends already taken by my daughter and my attendance of Texas School of Photography so I can advance my portrait skills a bit. I am hoping we stay wet on into May quite a bit so I can finish strong there for the spring.
Your(and others) kind words continue to push me to work hard and keep going to the woods!

Bob, it certainly looks like a productive day. I really like how you used to foreground to lead the eye to the waterfall.

Glad you were able to go as the conditions paid off with a great image.
