D600 sensor replacement

I don't know whether anyone else who has the D600 is plagued with sensor dust problems. I know I have. Took it to Nikon service about 3 months ago and had it clean at no cost. But the problem recurred (see this image). Took it back to the service center again today and was told that Nikon will replace the sensor for free. This is great except that I had to travel and use the camera this weekend and the replacement will take 2 weeks. So I asked them to clean it instead and will bring the camera back for sensor replacement when I get back. I asked them why Nikon did not announce a full recall of all D600 and was told that only some cameras have this issue. If a customer comes in and complained about dust on the sensor, they will replace it.

So if you are a D600 owner, please check with Nikon service center to see if they will replace your sensor!!!
