Weekly Challenge #577 (03/24/13 - 03/30/13) Unusual Macro - Submitted by William Gillis. Macro shots excluding the following subjects; flowers, animals, reptiles and insects.
Additional clarification of theme: There is some question as to how strictly these items are defined for exclusion. I would say the goal is to think outside of the normal "flowers, insects, small reptiles/animals" macro shots box. Plants would be ok as would corals, mushrooms, shells, rocks, water in various forms, etc. Stretch your imagination!. . . but you will not be punished if you stray from the theme. This is not a purist gallery. . .we want to have fun and challenge ourselves! Adherence to theme does effect choice of weekly picks however. . .
Danny, fruits and vegetables would be fine. Just a reminder, "Fruits and vegetables" is also a separate upcoming challenge! It's #580 during the week of April 14.
I hope everyone knows that my comment on R.L. Potts image was intended STRICTLY as fun. I've "kidded" with RL before and am pretty sure he took it as fun. I realized that "flower" was meant not to eliminate all organic things.
