In the process of trying to figure out what color to paint my computer editing room, I thought that there might be a 'Best Color' for a room that is used exclusively for photo editing. Can any of you shed some light on the subject?
Room exposure: Medium sized window to the east, two large windows to the south. All windows have wood shutters that control the light well.
I've heard a light neutral gray is best. Of course, the temperature of the light is affected by lots of other variables as well...the color of your shutters, any artificial light sources, etc.

Yes... for someone really picky about it, you'll find a place to buy truly neutral grey paint (maybe take a grey card to some place where they mix custom colors and have them match it), and use only light bulbs that are color balanced (like these).

Thanks for any assistance.
