Orchard Ice
Spring arrived and so did the low temperatures. Makes for a nice ice show and protects the buds. It was 24 and the overheads were still on making for a wet but satisfying couple hours. I'll post another in man and nature showing how the ice encases the buds in an effort to keep them from freezing. Not only are the trees beautiful, but so are the orchard floors. In a couple days I'll post one of the ice there.

Really pretty shot! The light coming through the ice is just magic. But I'm turning blue with cold just looking at it.

Great eye. It might be worth playing with different comps (crop out bit of blue sky? more of the trunk?). Just thinking. I like this as is as well.
