Signs of Spring at Ridgefield
It was really a great day to get out, I hope many of you took advantage of the nice weather. I spent about 4 hours at Ridgefield doing a little volunteer work and drove the auto tour route. We are seeing more sign of spring at the refuge as more and more ducks are arriving from their southern winter quarters and also begin pairing off. Today I was treated to several pair of Ring-necked ducks and I love how nicely this hens photo turned out. I'll post a drake in a couple of days. Time to dust off the camera and lenses.

Really nice shot Craig! Excellent light and details. The eye really grabs my attention. Great work!
