I received an email today from Google giving me the opportunity to "upgrade" my Nik suite to the new version. I can't find anywhere that talks about any improvements & differences. I don't want to overwrite what I have now & possibly lose functionality. Does anyone have any intel on what changes, if any are included in this latest "download" now that Google has taken over?

I just saw that news, that Google's offering all Nik's plugins for all platforms and applications, for $149 now, and previous purchasers can get everything for free:

and in the comments somebody mentions a coupon code of "DZISER" gets 15% off as well. I just bought them all, since I hadn't before, but they were on my short list to look into eventually.

Thanks for this. I've decided to finally give Nik a try thanks to this deal.

I downloaded it as soon as I got the email. I haven't installed it yet because I'm concerned about compatibility. I'm still using CS3. :frown: Does anyone know if this works with CS3?

"Does anyone know if this works with CS3?"
Sorry, but you're outta luck. :frown:
Per the requirements noted in the above link:

•Adobe Photoshop CS4 through CS6

Mark, I just loaded mine an hour ago. I have CS 2 and CS 5 (64bit) on my machine. In the past when I loaded any NIK it recognized the old CS 2 as well as the later CS 5. However, this time it did not show CS 2 it only recognized the CS 5. So, as John has provided the link above you might take a look at it too. :frown:

Bummer. :frown:
Maybe it's time to upgrade to CS6. One of the things holding me back was the need to upgrade all my plug-ins, especially the Nik suite.

I posted this on the other thread but will post it here too:
I have been using the full suite for years, does any know if there are any updates in this collection or is it all the previous updated releases from September bundled and rebranded?

I'm a window user and purchased the product. Can't download it to Adobe 9. Talked to another person who had the same difficulty and they added .exe to the address and it worked. I've tried to get hold of Google since yesterday with no results.
Its a very frustating company to work with. DZISER does work giving you another 15% off.

What a super deal! I've had NIK HDR Pro and Color Efex Pro 3 for awhile and I always had to get to CE Pro 3 thru the back door sort of, it was an irritating hassle. Got the full suite now and that annoyance is fixed also. I luv NIK photo products and hope they survive the Google assimilation. One complaint tho I would like to see NIK improve the selection tool. It blows.
