Looking for any must see places and camping location suggestions and comments (including, are you nuts?!) to the following trip itinerary.

Monday, leave Riverside 5 am, to White Pocket to arrive with several hours of daylight for shooting. Set up camp.

Tuesday, All day in White Pocket

Wednesday, Leave WP by 10 am, travel to Monument Valley, shoot till sunset (and twilight) Find a camping spot, possibly Muley Point...

Thursday, drive to trailhead for Mule Canyon and Roof on Fire ruin, shoot there till Noon or so, then head to Natural Bridges Monument, shoot the bridges, camp, probably some star shots (milky way if visible)

Friday, leave Natural Bridges to Road Canyon and Fallen Roof. Shoot till 11, back to car by Noon, drive home to Riverside. (can't stay longer, 2 of us have obligations on Sat)

Thoughts? Am I missing something?

That looks quite do-able to me. Spring winds are upon us now, so batten down the hatches.
Here's wishing you the best of luck and light on your journey! :toast:

Rodney, looks like a fun trip. A bit more driving than I would cram into such a few days, but it's doable.

Since White Pocket is so close to South Coyote Buttes, it's too bad you don't have an extra day to spend there.
You might want to play it by ear and spend the morning at White Pocket and the afternoon at South Coyote Buttes.
SCB requires permits, which are easy to get, but you'd want the permit in-hand before departing.

If it were my call, I would drop Fallen Roof and spend the extra day at SCB.

Two of us have done the Wave, one many times. The third guy is the one who has been begging me to do the ruins for a year. I realized south coyote is different than North, I'll run it by my buddy and see what he thinks.

We have added another day. So we will likely forgo MV on Weds and hit it on Friday on the way home, staying nearby to shoot it again in the morning on Sat.
