The garden birds are really feekling the cold at the moment.This one taken by my wife through the open kitchen window. I,d better watch out !!For interest really

Unusual to see so many still together like this, my LTT have been paired up for a few weeks now and are nest material hunting at present, although they still make the odd foray to some fat balls.

That said I have had a male Blackcap on the feeders this weekend which I haven't seen fore a while now -

I don't get many LTTs in my garden, but had a pair in today, and a goldcrest! Agree with David about the tails, nice shot!

Love Long-tailed tit's. How these tiny birds survive is amazing, looks like you're doing a good job helping them out though. I count 8 birds, is that right?!
