Mayflower
Gulch. What better way to spend a gorgeous day than in the snow? Had the whole ampitheatre to myself. Here's the cabins.

I love the clean fresh snow in the last one.

I really like the window shot, but the contrails are a bit distracting. Bet your feet were frozen after trekking through all that snow!

Man... Drift Peak (3rd image, peak on right) looks doable. Ive been up on that summit and it has a good view. Just love the bluebird conditions. The cool tonalities are perfect Stan. Mayflower Hill across the valley is a very nice avy free hike. Its a place I think of for winter camping every year but I just can't commit. Just follow the ski or snowmobile tracks from the Mayflower TH. Locals ski it to death but it has a killer view of Pacific Peak, which in my opinion is the best looking mountain in that area. Heres a link to a shot I took with a point and shoot back in 2004.

Cool pic, Kane!
Amy--lol, usually i get cold feet, but it was quite warm--hence those are water drops, not contrails

Beautiful shots Stan: I love the clean fresh snow and clear blue sky in the third shot, perfect. Thanks for sharing.

That first one is a cool shot. Looks like a great day to be at the gulch.

Nice set, Stan. Looks like you had a great time. #1 is my favorite, great texture in the snow in front of the cabin and beautiful blue sky.

Looks like a nice day, Stan! I haven't been up there in years. I was just telling my son about it. Thanks for the motivation.

I think the first cabin shot would look pretty nice with virgin snow like in #3.
