At $99 for the body, plus a few hundred for a lens (not included), this may be a fun stocking stuffer for landscape photographers next Christmas.
The TOTAL weight including body, lens, film holder and viewfinder is 680g. That's lighter than a Rebel and just over half the weight of a 5DII with the 40mm pancake lens !!
Note there are two models planned:
Travelwide 90 supports a Schneider Angulon 90mm ƒ/6.8 (28mm equivalent), with manual focus.
Travelwide 65 is designed for the ultra-wide Schneider Super Angulon 65mm ƒ/8 lens (20mm equivalent). Focus is fixed.
oooh, this is very tempting. Which one should I get?

This is a cool idea but with fixed focus and no movements you lose a lot of the advantages of a large format camera.

Ditto what Mark said. You've GOT to have lens movements for the 4x5 film size (if resolution is what you're going for). Even they claim that it's a large format "point and shoot". Strange idea.
I agree, the lack of movements will be a deal breaker for many landscape photographers with the goal of maximizing DOF.
Those signature near-far compositions with front to back sharpness will be impossible.
They note that the fixed hyperfocal distance set for the Travelwide 65 will give you everything from 8 meters to infinity in focus.
As Jason notes, the 90 has manual focus, which will let you get much closer, as long as focus at infinity is not a concern.
I have no interest in returning to film, but, given the price, size and weight, I think this 4x5 could still fill a niche.
It will be interesting to check back in a month and see if the concept gets funded.

What a cool idea! Of course, for those into digital processing and printing the only way to enjoy anything close to the full range of dynamic range and detail in a 4x5 sheet of film is a high end scanner. Two scans cost more than the price of this camera!

FYI - As of this evening, they have met their funding goal for the project.
Now I hope there are enough lenses available for everyone who bought one of these !!
