A customer recently ordered a 16 X 20 print. What is the best way to ship a large print? Rolled in a tube? Or flat, anchored down & sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard? Or other? Please let me know your thoughts as I haven't shipped one this big before. Thanks.

If you ship it flat sandwich the print between two pieces of cardboard that are bigger than the print by about an inch on each side, then sandwich 2 more pieces that are 4 inches or so bigger than the print. That way if the corners or edges get dinged the print will be away from the damage.

I've rolled them up to 20x30 in a tube. I've placed the print side on the inside with white tissue paper against the print. I've also sent them flat with a similar packaging technique that Scott mentioned.

Have you thought about having a print service drop ship to the customer? Might save a lot of hassle getting shipping supplies if it isn't something you expect to do often.
