This is the base shot from which I will post a different look on Monday. I was heading away from the geese stuff (shots) however; with the recent "got no birds" stuff, thought I should toss in a few more.
There is a lot going on in this shot, which is what I decided to use it for some creative processing.....give both a look and compare Sunday to Monday and let me know what you think.

I do love your geese although they seem pretty contrasty. But then again, maybe that's because I've never actually seen them on a SUNNY day. Everyone of my geese pics has gray skies. That gives me a little sunshine and geese envy.
Ahh, I see it - the church steeple in the background, that is! I too was wondering about the title, but now it is all explained...
Randy, I do love seeing the different poses of all the birds taking off but what is really impressive is when you look at this and realize that that entire strip of white at the bottom is nothing but Snow Geese on the ground! Wow!
It could only be... because it takes a miracle for those comical, waddling geese to be so beautiful and graceful in flight - of course ! The old story according to Genesis: "...let birds fly above the earth across the face of the firmament of the heavens." So it seems that God even has a good sense of humor.

My only nit is to crop down to just above the tops of the trees in the background. That extra blue sky isn't really adding anything...
