Some of you will be gathering next weekend to chase wildflowers and waterfalls in Arkansas. Since I've decided not to come down I thought I'd share an image I took last April of the waterfall outlet of Chase State Fishing Lake near Cottonwood Falls, KS.
This is really nice, Wayne. Great job controlling the highlights while showing plenty of detail in the shadowy areas. Lovely soft green color too. Wish you could make it down for the gathering - maybe this Fall...
Nice job with all the sunlight. I didn't realize we had this much water at all last year, I didn't even bother trying this location. Hopefully it will be flowing like that again soon.

Ken, this image was made in early April following a pretty heavy rain event the night before. Scott Bean and myself went out waterfall chasing early, making stops at Lyon, Osage and Chase state lakes. We found some interesting, yet little known waterfalls at the first two lakes.
