Back at my main computer and able to post and comment again, (the torrential storm we had on Saturday evening took out most systems much like Philip K.)
Hi this is the image I would have posted had I not come across a few damselflies on Saturday. Having done a little bit of damage to myself on Thursday I was off work on Friday, I was fine sat down so drove down to the marshes and experimented setting the tripod up in the car.
Have, for some reason, been after images of Redshanks on one of the fence posts, hopefully calling, for a while now, normally they depart as soon as you are in range but on this occasion one stayed for me, got some calling shots but most of the time the head turn was away from me

Nice shot with great light and BG!

Yep, no nits from me, up to your usual high standard. I like it.
cheers

A typical redshank pose which you have captured beautifully. Good detail, background and lighting, what more could you want?
Nice BG & nice light on the 'shank. Was it preening? Just looks a bit hunched up!
Hope your "damage" wasn't/isn't too bad
Graeme
Totally agree with the rest of the guys, great redshank image.
best wishes
