Hi All,

According to an article from the AP, there is a highly unusual Joshua Tree Bloom in the Mojave.

AP Article

Might be worth a trip out there.

Two sights worth following for reports on Joshua Tree bloom are:
The Mojave National Desert Preserve Wildflower observations: http://www.nps.gov/moja/naturescience/where-wildflowers.htm
Joshua Tree National Park wildflower viewing http://www.nps.gov/jotr/planyourvisit/blooms.htm

Sounds like it is time to head for the desert.

Thanks for the tips Preston and Sandy.

Anyone going out to JTNP on either this upcoming Thursday the 18th or Friday the 19th I plan to be there too. I'll be driving a dark gray 2011 Toyota Tacoma extended cab 4x4 with personal plates "TRLIMGS" and yellow plate brackets reading "Trail Images Photography". Last trip I met an NPN person from Colorado out there. Wave me down if you're out there and see me driving around. :wavey:

Haven't seen a photo of the event yet. Anyone got something to post?
