Shooting up into the sky at a small bird in the top of a tree seldom produces results for me. So I was pretty excited to rescue this one with Ps5 and NIK. The image out of the camera was practically a silhouette, a quick handheld snap with the GH3 and 600mm. Oh, well...
Recently came upon the deal offered by Google/NIK to upgrade to the NIK total collection for free. Jumped on it and got to work. So, I have several versions of the image, showing you this one that is the tightest crop.
Yellow-rumped Warbler in Willow trees at Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge. If you haven't been there lately (in the last couple years), it's well worth a day's visit!

Amazing you can pull that much detail out of a silhouette! Love the NIK tools, and free is a very good price!

This looks really good for having started as a silhouette! The cameras and post processing tools we have today are incredibly powerful.
