So while everyone is out shooting Tullips my favorite time of the year in the woods is upon us, the trillium bloom.
This was taken this morning at the Tualatin hills nature park.
Nikon d7100, nikon 300mmf4 at f8 1/40th of a sec ISO400

Nice shot Wade! I love shooting the wild ones in the woods too and this is a beauty! I haven't seen any Trillium that have turned rose color yet but I did notice the Pacific Bleeding Hearts starting to bloom.

Sensational shot! The plant is in prime condition and look at the lovely bloom. Perfect.

I just love those guys, and this is a beautiful example! One of these days I'd love to find one with a waterfall behind it... sigh.
