I was fortunate enough to spend some time with the folks at the Spring Gathering this morning, and found this redbud as the sunlight was starting to filter through the woods. It was great to visit with everyone...looking forward to seeing some posts from others!

Beautiful Bill! Very interesting subject. I really like the separation it has from the surrounding tangles. Great job of processing.

Bill, I was looking for that tree all weekend and you come out for a few hours and find it! Our redbuds will be at least a week away yet if they weren't frozen. Now I'll know what to look for. That looks like a classic springtime forest scene.

Yep, this is a Bill Dark classic. The warm light in the background really sets a nice stage for the early season vegitation.
