I'm the first to admit that I'm a technology idiot. But riddle me this: In trying to lighten my load on trips by taking my Android Tablet instead of a laptop I decided to download Snapseed since there's now an Android tablet version. So I locate it in the Google Play Store, download the thing, and then try to open it...can't find it! Download again paying close attention to all the screens. Still can't find it so I give up. Now it gets strange. Next morning I'm checking messages and stuff on my phone and oh, Snap...there's Snapseed on my phone. How does my tablet initiate a download to my phone. For that matter how does it know I even HAVE a phone?
This is a job for someone much smarter than I. Any thoughts?

Bill, I don't use Snapseed but it was developed by NIK and now Google owns NIK. If you have a g+ or gmail account, check your settings. Chances are you will discover you have entered a phone number there and now Google has it. That's all I can think of . . .

Hi Bill! Droid and iOS are all synced now, so if you buy an app on the one device it'll auto push out to your other "like" device. In fact, I like to keep my iPad lean and when Apple introduce that syncing ability, every iPhone app I bought showed up on my iPad too. I finally found the config setting to not have it do that. If I want an app on my second device, I'll go after it manually. It's free of course if you paid for it the first time. I'm assuming Android devices work the same way (for all I know they did that first and Apple followed). And for all of this to work, of course, you'd have to be using the same account for both devices, whether an iSomething with another iSomething, or a Droid phone and tablet. Having separate Google or Apple accounts makes no sense because you'd have to pay twice for the same app. So if you bought 14 Droid tabs, an app would show up on all of them if you use the same account on it.
ANYWAY, that doesn't address the missing app on your tablet, lol! Hopefully a Droid expert will pipe up. I'm no help there, all of my devices grow on fruit trees in Cupertino (China actually, lol).
Has any other app done this to you?

I have Apple products, so I'm not sure if this is the same but on the App Store many apps have different downloads for phone and iPad, could you have possibly downloaded the phone app instead of the tablet app?
