Took a drive up to the garden the other day to see the snow, since we see so little of it in the brown hole. Prettiest ive seen the garden, about 3-4 inches of snow, snowing hard, and the walkways were all clear thanks to the warm ground. Here's the set.

Nice set Stan, I'm diggin' #4 the most, although I like all of them especially for originality.

Stan, the first image is my choice as I like the sense of limited visibility created by the snow and clouds. I am kind of undecided about the relative dominance of the large darker tree on the right, but wouldn't get rid of it either.
I prefer No. 4. It seems to draw me into and through it. Just wondering, what is the gray, small rectangle in the upper right in what, with some imagination, appears to be a pair of eyes (left eye)?
Thanks folks!
Jim--i just noticed that, i believe it is a sign. Based on the other signs at the garden, it probably says "Don't crawl back her or you will die!" but ill have to check the tif to be sure...

Stan... third and the fourth are very unique take of the place... I like them better than the first... You are so right about the sign there at the GOG!
I like #'s 1 & 4 quite a bit, Stan. It's rare (for me) to see such finely lit sandstone set against such high key winter skies, and I think that it looks terrific!
I like the different look to these, although it's too much negative and too much white space in the first 3. I would prefer tighter comps to eliminate so much of both. Your pp work on the rock is fantastic, with such rich color and texture. #4 is just an excellent comp with fine use of lines, and yeah, you could probably lose the sign.
