Lingering Light on the Guadalupes
I took this one in the Guadalupe Mountains of west Texas in January.

It was getting dark and this was a long exposure, almost five minutes at f/11 (no filter).

The lingering light turned out a pretty magical image.

I really like what a long exposure does for a cloud filled sky, especially when the landscape below is full of wonderful detail. Great job Darren.

I like the contrast between warm and cool tones, and the softness of the clouds is soothing. Very nice, Darren.

I also really like your teatment of the clouds and sky. We certainly have a diverse landscape in CSNP! You do a great job in representing the southwestern portion of it.

Love the effect of the clouds with the long exposure.
