Was out walking with my kids today when i came across this handsome and hairy fellow..The harsh light and screaming kids did not make it easy but as my uncle from Australia always used to say....
"life is not meant to be easy"...

A handsome chappy. They are invasive I believe?

Yep, that's right Neil. They are introduced early 20st century from North America and where used for their fur.
In Belgium they are still considered a "delicacy" and called "water-rabbit"... :toast:

Hey there Musky, reminds me of Deputy Dawg when I was a kid! Great shot superbly executed under such trying circumstances.
